Travel Uniform Ordering

Welcome to POBSC Travel Soccer. Our travel soccer uniform provider is soccer.com, which will provide our members with the level of customer support that meets the needs of our growing membership.

Before getting the uniform purchase started please read through some important information and instructions below. Reading the below before emailing us with a question can help reduce email traffic.

  • Every travel player (U9 and up), MUST PURCHASE a new uniform. The club’s agreement with Adidas includes a potential change in style every 2 years based on inventory and this is the first of the 2 year agreement. This means that this jersey kit used will be for Fall 24, Spring 25, Fall 25, and the Spring 26 season.
  • If you are a returning POBSC  travel player, your jersey number will remain the same but you are required to  purchase the new kit
  • If you are new to POBSC travel, please follow the instructions to view numbers that are already taken
  • If you are playing U9 travel you will be able to request a few options for a number when you register (first come first serve). 
  • If you are a coach of a travel team, and you have new players, please work with them on getting their number assigned ASAP
  • Your child will not be able to play if they are not wearing the official club travel uniform, so please make every effort to submit your orders as soon as possible.
  • Adidas uniforms are typically represented as Youth, Mens, and Womens. These are automatically assigned based on whether you play in the girls division or boys division. If you are not comfortable with the cut of the assigned uniform, you can contact soccer.com to request to switch to the other cut than the one assigned. POBSC does not have any say as to lengths and differences in gender based styles – these are the options provided by Adidas.
  • Uniform sizing information and guidance is provided on the soccer.com website. If you are a returning POBSC player the adidas sizing is the same so you can use that as a gauge.
  • The required uniform kit includes 1 orange jersey, 1 black jersey, 1 pair of shorts and 1 pair of socks (although we always recommend purchasing an additional pair of socks).
  • Processing and shipping times vary based on when you order. Ordering before the end of July ensures receiving your uniform kit on time. Ordering after July risks you not receiving your uniform on time as processing and shipping times can increase to 4-5 weeks.

How to View Numbers Already Selected (available to view after you receive the soccer.com email)

  1. Go to https://www.soccer.com. Click on My Team , and search for the club Plainview Old Bethpage Soccer Club, under Team Store Name
  2. Select Your Child’s Division: This is your child’s age group based on division / birth year. Click “Select Team” and find the appropriate division. You will see all players and jersey numbers already taken.
  3. Email your coach and include the division, your child’s name, and email address and copy uniforms@pobsc.com with at least 3 numbers that have not already been taken by another player in that division.
  4. You will receive a response with a confirmation that your child has been added to the site and you can then begin your uniform ordering process

ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS  – THE MESSAGE BELOW IS STRICTLY FOR PRE-TRAVEL / TRAVEL PLAYERS – U9 AND UP 

(Intramural players U9 and below, will receive a different uniform kit 1 week prior to the season start from their division head – they do not need to order)

You will be able to order any additional and/or replacement items, as well as other POBSC Spiritwear with your required order. Please note, that any items you purchased will be shipped with the uniform kit.

We strongly encourage placing your orders immediately as it can take 4-6 weeks to be delivered the closer we get to the start of the season. The delivery window will only increase the longer you wait, so WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU ORDER WITHIN 2 WEEKS. In order to ensure that uniforms are delivered to you before the start of the season, please prioritize this so your child is able to take the field with his/her team.

While the website is fairly straightforward we wanted to provide some Instructions for Ordering in case helpful

  1. Accessing the uniform site (three ways)
  2. Search your Childs name  or you can find your child by going through the division under Select Team
  3. Select Your Child’s Division: This is your child’s age group based on division / birth year. Click “Select Team” and find the appropriate division. If you have multiple children to order for, you can start with either.
  4. Select Your Player: Find your child’s name and assigned number and click “Select Player”. If you notice an error in your child’s number or your child is not listed please contact uniforms@pobsc.com before continuing the order. Names that were longer than the 12 characters so we needed to shorten it for the system to accept it. That does not impact what your uniform kit will look like.
  5. Apparel Page: You will notice the 4 items that are Required as part of the kit (orange jersey, black jersey, shorts, socks). Select the appropriate size for your child – use the sizing guide and videos that the site provides that help you make the best fit.
  6. Add to Cart:  Once you are set with the size of the required items you must click ADD TO CART FOR EACH ITEM
